Veritas Autism Assessments

We are a professional clinical service which specialises in providing ‘Gold Standard’ autism assessments for both children and adults, usually possible from the age of 24 months.

​Veritas assessments follow the best practice guidelines set out by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) and the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN). Therefore, a Veritas diagnosis will be recognised by public bodies across the UK.

 

Our multi-disciplinary clinical team review all of our assessments, so that you receive the reliability of an NHS diagnosis, without joining a waiting list.

Our team

Our team undertake online and in-person assessments across the UK and have a face-to-face assessment clinic at Time Counselling and Wellbeing Centre. Our clinicians are highly experienced in the identification of autism and ADHD and have received specialist training in the administration of gold-standard assessment tools. All our diagnostic clinicians are also professionally trained, registered with their relevant professional bodies and have DBS clearance. 

 

We are skilled in diagnostic assessment from the age of 24 months and are experienced in assessing females and LGBTQ+ people.

Waiting times

Our current waiting time to start an assessment is 2 - 3 weeks and we generally conclude assessments between 2 and 4 weeks from the first session, but individual circumstances can vary.
